Is Wild West Pioneers on Nintendo Switch?

No. You cannot get Wild West Pioneers on Switch, and no Switch port has been announced. The same goes for Switch 2. For now it is a PC city builder in Early Access, and Nintendo’s store does not carry it.

What does the eShop show if you search for it?

Other games. Searching Nintendo’s eShop index for “wild west pioneers” brings up titles that share a word, a few with “Pioneer” in the name and plenty of other Wild West games, but nothing by this game’s makers. (See a search of Nintendo's European eShop index for the name)

That matters if you have spotted something similar on your Switch and wondered. Wild West Pioneers is developed by EmpireCraft Studios and published by Toplitz Productions; a Switch listing without those two names on it is a different game. (Credited on the Steam store page)

Could a Switch version come later?

Nothing rules it out and nothing points to it. The Early Access roadmap lists three content updates, a first round of feedback fixes, a mountain region on the strategic map and a highland settlement, and none of them is a new platform. (Listed in Steam announcement: Our Early Access Roadmap) A port would most likely be announced by Toplitz on the game’s Steam news page or show up as an eShop page first. Until one of those appears, “not announced” is the whole answer.

Playing it without a Switch

The game needs a Windows PC; the system requirements list the minimum. You can buy it on Steam now; where to buy covers GOG and the Epic Games Store, and the Early Access page sets out what is finished and what is still coming.

If what you want is a handheld, a Windows handheld PC is the nearest match, with caveats from the platform table: Valve rates the game Playable on Steam Deck but notes small text and a default controller setup that is not fully functional, and the game has no native controller support.
